Do you dream often little boy?
Blood draining from her throat
Cutting soft butter
The blade dancing across her skin
Those terrified frozen eyes of hopelessness
Her screams for help,
Silenced by the glove covering her mouth
The sudden turn of her head,
As she felt the breath on her shoulder
Mud covered boots creeping closer
The man in the doorway
You've seen him before
Haven’t You?
A little boy playing with a toy knife
