Is it worth it, a question many ask me
Is it worth living, worth fighting
Worth trying, because we're all dying
Is it worth being who you were born to be

When the world hates you
No one cares about you
When you're alone and scared
And no one's there to help you through

The answer is yes
Why is that you may wonder
With all of this weight on your shoulders
Think for a moment take a guess

If you don't figure it out
The reason you stand up
Is because you are meant to rise up
You're blessings so many none can count

If you die, you give all of that up
Is it worth losing the chance to be
More than what the world see’s
To end the hurt that fills your cup

You are worth so much more
Than this world will ever know
And your testimony will help another grow
Will you stunt them because you're sore

You hold hearts in your hand
People with dreams to be great
Are you willing to hurt them
Just because you fell in the sand

Is it worth it, to hurt anyone who cares
About whether you live or die
Who are connected to you soul and mind
To do what will bring them tears

If you say yes, then you're selfish
After all that's what suicide is
An act of selfishness
Is that your obsession, your fetish

If you say no, then it's worth living
It's worth trying, it's worth fighting
It's worth staying on earth
But most of all, it's worth giving

All I ask that you try it
Think of your future rather than your test
Know that you're a cut above the rest
Most of all, know that you are worth it
I hope this poem helped someone who didn't see the worth in trying to become the best them they could possibly be
