Feb 2010
the light switch goes off at my time of bed
the cover pulled tightly over my head
the darkness slowly
fills my room
i hear heaving breathing
heavy hoofs fill my ears
its to late now
no turning back
i cant move from my bed
or they might attack
rip me from limb to limb
pull my organs out and feast upon them
but wait I'm being silly
theres nothing to fear
i have my trusty flashlight
right here on my bed
i flip it on
pan around the room
theres no one around
but i know better
I flick the flashlight off
and return to my cover
the monsters have missed me
one more night.
