tell me

Tell me

has the wind whispered through your bones

the way your fingers fall between the strands of my hair.

do the leaves drift abound suspended in flight

as your heart flutters captured in time.

Tell me

do my ardent advances tremble your able will,

has my unyielding touch coerced such affections,

will our embrace yet come at last,

can lips crash into raw ardor.

Tell me

can this go on
