I am a girl who walks around blindly
A girl, a person who doesn't know her future
You tie me down, You cut me to the core
to a meaningless future.
And like glass I shatter.
My world is fragile
My heart is stone.
And my heart once encrusted in jewels
lays tarnished-broken on mortal ground.
Why would you hurt a good heart?
Why would you throw me away like I was nothing.
I was bold. I was fierce.
But to the rest of the world I was a candle about
to go out.
