My Past

I must confess,

that my past is a mess.

I try to move on,

but what I did was so wrong,

I just can't fight it.

I learn to forgive myself,

say that i'm someone else,

but the guilt keeps appearing.

Why can't I move on?

Because I've lost so much along the way.

I'm a different person now.

Maybe it's best this way,

and I hope you know that.
