I'm reposting this because I want to ask a question about rhyme. I'm wondering if there's a specific name for the type of rhyme taking place in the last two lines of the poem (e.g. steep and keep). I don't think this qualifies as an "internal rhyme" but what do I know? I just know I do it a lot and I'm wondering if there's a name for it. Thanks for any insight on this.
Rummaging around through a pile of scraps I found a hat and an old pair of shoes. A can of paint is always welcome. I just need a brush and a sliver of canvas. Here in my world I look for an answer But first I need to know the question. I’ll let it go by without a mention And dance with my muse while you wait for a chance. The cost of some magic can be very steep but I’ll pay the whole price and keep what I need.
