In strange times, my stranger away
I want to talk (to you) not knowing what to say.

From real stories of shame and abuse,
From hardening bubbles to letting loose.
You were always a patient listener, my stranger away
I want to talk (to you) not a what to say.

I know you have difficulties too.
The idiot child in me that never grew,
Knew not when it hurt you, my stranger away
I want to talk (to you) not knowing what to say.

Is there an escape to some abstract space?
Where we sleep on grass and the stars (at us) gaze?
I know you always have answers, my stranger away
I want to talk (to you) not knowing what to say.
