Chatter

There it is again! So loud! So distinct! It started even before the band began! Is it coming from the crowd? I don’t know!  Its overwhelmed my instinct! The music is too loud! It seems to have covered it! Lets get to a quiet spot! Ah! Now all I hear is the crowd. Something doesn’t seem to fit. Do you think it’s the pot? Never has been before. Point taken. What was that noise! I don’t hear it any more. Lets wait here to see if it will awaken! I can never argue with you when you do that poise! Wait!  Hear it! Yes!  The noise is back! But where is it coming from? Lets listen as we sit. Good Idea!  Wait is it coming from my pack? It is!  Are you sure you had enough of that rum? Oh my God!  It’s my phone. Well isn’t this a hoot! I have never heard that ringtone before! It must be from that guy you wanted to bone! Hello!  Wait!  I need to turn of mute! Well girl!  You are anything but a bore! Oh hey Steve!  No we didn’t flee! Oh this guy is a keeper! We are out by the food tents! That’s my girl, so full of glee! Come over and join us by the A15 bleacher! Oh good!  I am always in the mood for some hunky gents!

Here is another experimental poem, where I am using an ABC, ABC, DEF, DEF rhyme scheme, as well as using an all dialogue sentence structure.  This was done for some dialogue writing practice for a screenplay I was writing.  Hope you enjoy!
