I took one step, one little step
Along the path I chose to travel
My mind was turned
To the thoughts I’ve learned
The gravel churned beneath my feet

The foggy path concealed my view
Just one more stride into the mist I stepped
I came upon a quiet place
And set myself down
By a jog in the road

I didn’t come here to while away
But rather I came to sit and pray
The words flowed out in a river of tears
The fog answered back
And a seed was sown

Never a fear nor even a shout
Just a quite moment to now write about
I picked up my feet and set to the trail
My prayer was answered
As I stepped through the veil
