Dear Emily,
From your yellow rain boots and coat to your sun kissed hair, you are the imbodyment of sunshine.
Gardens of wisdom sprout from every word you speak.
You add daisy's to my unkept yard of heartbreak.
You are my source of sunshine when the rolling storms go on for nights.
I am merely a single flower in your garden of life, but I am willing to sacrifice all my pedals and stem to keep my sunshine in the sky.
You are everything I wish to become. I hope one day I can pluck one of your rays of sunshine and plant it into my unkept yard, so my fears and lonelyness can sprout into strength and kindness.
                           stay golden,
                                          Bitty
i wrote this for one of my best friends.
