Soundless conversations
I watch you.
Twitch and turn
In your own confusion
Seeping out your pores
It hits me.
It shows me who you are.
You are beautiful.
If only I could show you
Show you how I see
Show you how the light
Hits the pools of water
That I store away
In the lakes
Of my dreams
My hopes.
That now hope
For you
And me
Together.
I see the stubs
Of shaven hair
That grow
So slow
Like the love
I think we share
The way the breeze
Brushes across
This bed of silence
Has never said so much
Speaking nothing.
Has never done so much
But make me see
How you see
How you feel
You are,
Imperfectly perfect.
