“Quietly she waits

Waits for life to catch up
To dreams;
to memories
,
To her heartbeat
She wrestles with demons

Pulling her further into darkness

Leaving her to crave and to desire
Silently they come

Without warning
tears, warm, wet
Salty.

They taste of longing
of  need, of conflict
Conflict within herself
Quietly she waits.....
