Heart

My heart isn't dead, it is still beating. Even though my body feels numb, even though my brain cannot think, my heart keeps beating. Why am I alive? Is it to move on from the past and learn of a new future? Create a new life that I can love. My heart will learn as it always has to let go of the past and move on to better things.
