Oh, how the world
in its mindless way
spins endlessly
through this dark void.
Oh, like a cloud blown
by fierce  winds
by the storm of the soul
devouring all life in its wake.
Oh, how my soul
is unsettled
and all my peace
is driven far from me.
Oh, this darkness!
Oh, how this heart of darkness
seems to devour the earth
that stumbles to and fro
as though it were a drunken man.
Oh, how by  the light of your love
I can only find my way
to live in the house of love
that is your arms.
Oh, I am lulled into a sweet sleep
and in my dreams
I dream of you
and the world is filled
with the sweet sent
of your body
and the sweet aroma
of your breath.
Oh, to always remain
is my dream.
To always remain
in the paradise of your soul.
Oh, sleep with me
and fill my soul
with dreams of your love
that haunts me
like some mystic
and enchanted realm.
oh, and let me dream ever on
till the stars fall from heaven
and forever more.
