I once carried a star beneath my wings
But she burned too brightly and faded too quickly
Without her, my wings fail me, and I fall to Earth
I bury myself amongst the rocks, waiting for the waves to break
A new voice calls to me, bringing me back to life
And I fly out to the stars once again
