World wasn't ready

You take over my mind just as easily as you take me in your arms. I see our future unravel in my head and i wish i could tell you how i feel. Instead of watching my hands shake with uncertainty when I'm near you. I want to be yours and for you to be mine but the distance between us has another thing in mind. We both could have, should have, maybe even would have done things differently if we realized what kind of future stood out before us. But then again maybe the world wasn't ready for us yet.
