Wondering

My heart beats along with the drum in your favorite song. Wishing you were here so I can see you breathe and feel you speak. We laugh and sing along with the wind that blows the leaves of the tree we are under, onto our laps. The sky so blue and the leaves shades of green and yellow. We hug and kiss and say hello instead of goodbye. My heart speeds up the tempo and the world spins as you leave and whisper "until next time." But I sit here and wonder when will that be?
