Great Measures

You tower over me

Your very being extravagant

Overwhelming

Our heights leave me with debt

An impoverished woman

Built from diamonds

Things gone wrong became razors

When I choke on them,

scrape my throat,

cough up blood

I smile,

having proof you touched me
