******* and those stupid games
you played with me for so long
I grimace through a smile that shows
when I say that you're gone

And I count the days I go without
straight bleeding out your name
And I strangle every lovely thought
that echoes in my pain

If all is fair in love and war
I'll take my loss and leave
I'm tired of living my life blind
in hopes that you will see

So I'll **** the monsters in my closet
underneath my bed
And I'll burn the bridge of you
and try to heal my heart instead
I'm free -- oh, but freedom feels like chains
'Cause although I left the cage of you
I'm still left with the pain
