Drowning in His Eyes

Deep, unending pools of tenderness Clouded, by the confusion of untended emotion And swirling thought, Windows into his soul, Betraying what lies beneath; the still surface of our lives At times, orbs of embracing warmth Flowing forth, with clarity Sometimes, as cold as ice Trapped; within a vice of chilling fears Frozen there, I see the tears, begging for release. I can see you on the other side of these frozen walls of your own design, Staring through those clear, unending pools I lose myself, trying to find The meaning behind, the feelings that I know are there Only hidden; behind those clear and caring eyes And now I find, that I just can't survive, Unless I see myself reflected there In the caring, unending pools of your eyes.

If you read this dear, I'm sure that you can tell that it's about you. I could stare into your eyes for an eternity and find myself wishing that time would stop just so I could spend an eternity reflected in your deep brown eyes.
