Before I confess I confront this mess
of feelings and glances after our embraces
you leave me speechless even sometimes breathless
and I get nervous from silence
when there's so much I could say
And I don't know what I want from you
sometimes you're like the mountains
I see creeks and streams in the seams
and I remember you've been in my dreams
you've been in my dreams
A kiss would be nice but only with the right eyes
otherwise I'm content with your smile
just wishing I could hold you for awhile
one morning to lay by your side
ponder your mind
fingers sift hair
eyes closed without care
