your eyes and your soul; grow old
your skin and your face; thin
your knees and your hips; break in
your voice and your lips, slip

as if love has never been gained
lost as if you never were told
how a lover shall be made of gold
pocket your change and leave here,
toss yourself into the sea
the sharks will love you madly
maybe then you'll see
