Remembering the shadows
The remnants of the light
Because when the sun shines elsewhere
It leaves us here with night.
Remembering the storm
That came after the sun
Because when the sun hides away
We know the day is done
And when the day is finished
The moonlit gems come out
And the shadows cover the people
and darkness grows throughout.
