I took a picture of us
And hid it from them
I gaze up at it
Again and again
I’ll never tell them
They can never know
You’ll never tell her
You can never show
But I’ve been sitting here
Waiting for you
But we have to hide it
There’s nothing we can do.
I don’t want to wait
Until it’s my turn
I won’t hide this picture
I’ll just leave it to burn
