Let out a Sigh

by @willadean-wright

Let out a Sigh You took me to a mountain You filled my every need Oh the love that we once shared Is only known by you and me You promised me the sky I took a deep breath And let out a sigh You sheltered me In a place, no one could touch I gave my heart to you                   I loved you just a little too much       I thought our love would never die   I took a deep breath And let out a sigh Then... you said you must be free I will never understand Oh, the pain was killing me    I could never understand Then I saw you cry I took a deep breath And let out a sigh It was the hardest thing to do With a lump stuck in my throat The hardest thing I've ever done   All my dreams went up in smoke I had to say good-bye I took a deep breath And let out a sigh
