Single drop of poison
Slight pressure on the wrong nerve
A wrong word, an unintended glance.

A shove off a tall building
Taste of gun metal against the gustatory palate
Broken promises, scattered like dead petals.

A fever of 99
A cold of 10 sniffles per minute
Throat, a heated battle field.

Violent cataclysms of the confused mind
Storms raging in my humerus
The salt of your lies leaving my eyes.
