Honesty and Truth
I promise you I shall always be honest,
I will tell everything as I see it,
I will not deceive you or lie to you,
but I may not always tell the truth.
There is a difference you see,
between honesty and truth,
one is purely factual,
the other contains insight and emotion.
Honesty is the thoughts in my head,
it is truth transformed by my perceptions,
the truth can hurt,
my words will never hurt.
