Fucksgiving

And so here we are

****** and pillaging old memories.

Carving turkeys and making half families.

Death takes the other half and makes it whole.

Fake "how do you do's?" make the world a bigger place.

"Traditions, Family, Food, Smiles"

we wipe our feet on these half truths

and tuck them into bed

carrying, now, a fully packed suitcase

and trying to stuff a 10lb turkey in it.

Things will never be the same

Things will never BE THE SAME.
