she sleeps alone in this bed for two
as her heart beats slow to this lonely tune
her mind it fights to see what is true
but she just can't forget all she was put through
the tears and the pain, she just can't forget
he pleads and he cries, that this times legit
her mind it tries, but she just cannot forget
the day she felt her heart split
broken, beaten, and bruised, her heart bleeds blue
he never thought to stop and think of what she has gone through
she'll lay there beside him, but she feels so alone
he pleads and he begs, that she is his home
she wants to believe, but she just can't forget
the day she felt her heart split
