The Fire Burns
Poems
Nov 2016
Dance the Precipice
Arterial lips
beg to be touched
kissed, caressed
temperatures rising
as neurons fire
seeking
wanton
need
Buttons pushed
lust ignited
steered toward
the summit
Climbing ever higher
gasping for breath
begging
pleading
Crashing waves
crescendo
Waterfalls dance
the precipice
falling
filling
entwined beings
energy sapped
