Until I've Passed

It's bright

but it's cold

and the wind makes it even more so

and the clouds

and the shadows

that they cast upon the ground

are flowing

streaming on their paths

and the hardest part is knowing

you're alone

and so am I

Sometimes you feel like home,

so don't ever

don't you ever cry

on my behalf until I've passed
