I try to inhale your words
**** them through my nostrils
but there is no more breath in my lungs
And I can't swallow your words whole
so I chew them up into tiny pieces,
and although they slide down my throat alright,
I can still taste the bits that are stuck in my teeth
...the pieces that scream that you don't care about me.
