Sitting alone near my home
looking out across the bay
while the moonlight dance
off the water like a dream,
stones of words had fell
into my thoughts that provoked
many emotions;
I cry out many times saying
I must make an end to this pain
an end to memories,
I must make my heart and mind
string as stone;
but then looking at the perfect
midnight sky it takes me back
to a place I once loved so much,
Moonbeams with gentle glow
that takes my soul back to where
Love once was;
memories are cast among the sea
dark shadows of the shoreline
holds the stories of you and me.
