Dark Hours
Dark nights with the hunger of your touch
shadows rolling around on the ground
with false pretense
walls are closing in with clouds of gray
why hopes and dreams fad
the masterpiece of long days
had made it's way
back to stab at my heart another time
hours go on and on with out
love without your touch
time just stretches on with the sound of rain
a darken life of principles
of what is right and wrong
of childish pity of adults
playing on hearts ignoring
false pretense
sad days swaying at my heart again
my thoughts are cold all alone in this world
oozing away in lost dreams
of what could be lost in darkness
bruising argument all over again .
