Past Love Forgot
Sun in my eyes
And sun in my hair
Wind at my back
My gaze a blank stare
What you are now,
So once was I
Carefree and limp,
When love was a lie
Now as I lay here
Fragmented and tired,
My heartbeats are constant
But weak, uninspired
Some say it's better
To have loved than have not
But they must live on blindly,
With past love forgot
