There's so much I want to give,
Of nothing I've ever had,
And if I had a billion dollars,
I'd be strapped for what to do,

Falling up and growing down,
My friends are all gone now,
And if I had to make a call,
It'da been long ago,

My shoes, I still got 'em,
Black with glue and tape,
And mom could never understand,
Why you outed me from the band,

No one will ever know this room,
Two beds, two guitars (down tuned),
And no one will ever know these songs,
I forgot most of them myself,

The nights now aren't too long,
Street lights cascade to dreams,
And I like walking from her place,
Even when she's never home
