Oh, my heart sings a song
of bliss and woe.
A song of love that lives
in the center of my soul.
Oh, sometimes it is song
is a song of woe
like a swan when it sings
before cold death forever closes it eyes.
Oh, and sometimes  it is a song
that floods my soul with such joy
like an angel singing in my heart.
Oh, you can make me weep
an ocean of tears
every time my heart
is filled with fear
that I am nothing in your eyes.
Oh, in your embrace
I know every created thing sings your name
and all the world glows
as though it burned with the fire
of a million rainbows
and the love and glory
of heavens one true God.
Oh, that song I know shall
ever remain in my heart
till the last day of time.
