Fearful to commit
For slavery I wish not to submit
Liberty wasted away
Pride in decay

I despise what I see in the mirror
Face to face in hate
It doesn't get any clearer
Anguish beginning to pulsate

Abandonment of hope
Nothing remains to help me cope
Left behind emotionally beaten and scarred
Further and further away from normalcy,
