all tucked in with her and snug
a night of drinking at a friends
has brought all of that to an end

Friendship gone with night of bliss
enjoyed the friction and every kiss
but for each other just not meant
and a relationship now bent

Lost touch now,  and reminisce
how different life would be if this
had taken hold and not been a fling
wondering what life would bring

life is far from on the skids
