Unrequited love
opens the door and slams the truth in my face.
Unrequited love
gives me that smile that caused my whole being to quiver.
Unrequited love
then casts her name,
her name, that caused that beautiful face of his to lighten up.
Her name that made, love, happy.

Isn't this jealousy?
No,
Selfish, the word I was searching,
while I was in a small white room, with love and her.
My stomach started to turn upside down just like how the tables turned.
When unrequited love left,
Unrequited love left.

August came and he had to say goodbye.
Love bids farewell to everything.
Date: August 04, 2016
