Who am I?
Sometimes I feel like breathing is my worst habit
Sometimes my reflection sighs for stability and this skin doesn't make sense
But life is to ridiculous for a short cut
Best to take the long way and dodge nonsense with a smile
These moments come with no invitation but I find peace in madness
Insanity is purity walking a fine line
I'm sure most would disagree
Brain chemistry is animalistic in origin and I find beauty in it's chaos
Life's momentum shapes perception and I do what I can for navigation
We fall into each other in rapid succession craving warmth and reason
After a time we break away numb and confused denouncing all emotion
Still
Humor is all I find on these days worlds collide
Stagnant crowds terrify me
No escape routes make me primitive
Existing for the sake of ground work makes me sickly and despondent
Writing soup filled stanzas is the only tool I have for peace
You ask me who I am
