I've lived a life of misery,
and lived in such a fantasy,
that fun wasn't fun,
and I was below everyone.
I've lived a cold dark life,
filled with misery and strife,
and I've lived alone so long,
that I can't open up to anyone,
but there's a small crack in my shell,
a chance of being saved from this hell.

I've started over on a whim,
repented from a life of sin.
I'm done with the lies,
I've said my goodbyes,
and turned to the light,
to end my painful flight.
