The Fire Burns
Poems

In From The Pool
Summer bronze skin
surrounds alabaster white
bikini tan lines
as she stands in front of the mirror
Just in from the pool
I can smell the chlorine
as I watch her undress
a whiff of coconut sunscreen
Ruby red ******* stand *****
In the air-conditioned flow
I caress her from behind
kiss her neck softly
Connect the dots with my tongue
I taste the summer salty sweat
a musky smell fills my nose
as her legs part
I naked too
now am extended
as I feel her wetness
from behind
Squeezing *******
and now at entry
the slick sensation
of loves fluids
*******
excitation
celebration
inebriation
Drunk in the ***** moment
as bodies merge
in passionate friction
as heat ignites
Cool shower water
calms us down
and keeps the flames
from combusting us
The smell of clean water
flowery soap
mixes with the aroma
of love in the air
Satisfied and showered
into the bed sheets
where it all starts again
in the smell of linen
