If you really knew me you’d understand why.
You’d get why I’m hurting you’d get why I cry.
If you really knew me you’d see through my facade
you’d see that sometimes I can be a bit odd.
If you really knew me you would see that I try,
I make mistakes, but I still get by.
If you really knew me you’d stick by my side,
you’d love and you’d help me, you’d stick for the ride.
