He looks at me
I fake a smile,
I run and hide and cry a while.
He looks at me
fear trickles down my spine
but again and again I tell him I’m fine.
He looks at me
like mind control
Staring me down and eating my soul.
He looks at her
like she’s a work of art
He’ll love her, and he’ll break my heart.
