Trying so hard it's not going away
because we both know that wanting it doesn't make it okay.
My mind's gone immoral; we know it's not right.
So i'm sitting up while you're sleeping at night
Striving to be happy is making me sad
Saying it's fine doesn't make it less bad
Wishing you away but wanting you here
the knot in my stomach starts to stab like a spear
Trying so hard, but it won't go away
because we both know that wanting it doesn't make it okay.
