I've never put myself out to such a degree
And the lightweight that I am, the gun that shot my nerves
With the sheets in my hands, the rhythm burned in my veins
The ink in my bloodstream bled through onto my paper heart
And blackened all the confidence I built
So when I got the news
The pages were ripped and so was my strength
