Feb 2012
a baby girl in a bright pink carriage
a young mother pushes her along
a bump in the path sends her pacifier
rolling off the sidewalk and into the woods
Forgotten

a young man sent off to war
his parents cry for many months
but alzheimer's takes their memory
and he falls on the battleground stiff and cold
Forgotten

a new couple deep in love
his sweet voice promises to never leave
but one day he's gone with some new woman
and she tries to sleep alone
