So let as curse, as cruel possession,
To you in darkness, lack of sight,
My hot seducing naked impression
Will come as torture day and night.

And then in throes of lust and carnal passion
In madness agonizing, conjuring and praying,
For making love to me consuming mad obsession
Price ultimate of death you'll offer to be paying.

Your begging though will be in vain.
My heart will stay indifferently cold.
You fool, forever lying at my feet in pain,
Be able not light fire of my soul.
Cleopatra punishes her court jester by blinding him for mocking her.
